I just love when Guy helps Kyle prime for the mural Kyle’s going to paint and he’s just so disappointed about the fact that he has to do it without any help from the ring because he just wants to blast the place with a huge paint gun, like that was literally what he thought they would be doing and just knowing that’s his first thought when asked ‘hey Guy, wanna help me paint?’ is maybe everything i love about Guy. And i love how when other lanterns come around wanting to help Guy is just like ‘no go away’ but Kyle is just like ‘sure grab a brush’ and then Guy calls him a softie. Or when a lantern knocks over paint Guy goes ‘nice going, klutso.’ while Kyle’s super calm about it and just nice like ‘it’s not a problem, i got a lot of paint.’ and it’s just this big difference between the two of them, like they balance each other out or something and it just goes back to their chemistry together and how they’re just the greatest partners.
Last thing and i’ll shut up for the night. But i also really like putting voices to faces. Like i love hearing someones voice and being able to like see their face in my mind or something. Or like the speech accents and how some people have a different way of pronouncing stuff or put emphasis on different parts of words. I’m such a weirdo i can’t even explain this without sounding really odd.
